To Be A Business Champion, Think Like A Champion

To Be A Champion In Business, Think Like A Champion

I recently had the pleasure of speaking with Chukky Okobi, keynote speaker, business success coach and master practioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming on “Ron Ruth Presents…” for Disc Jockey News & DJNTV

Chukky has enjoyed a tremendous amount of success at the highest levels. In his football career he won championships at the collegiate and professional level, winning a Big Ten championship at Purdue University and a Super Bowl championship as a center with his hometown Pittsburgh Steelers.

Chukky Okobi - Basic Instructions

Now retired from football, his Kansas City based business, Basic Instructions, focuses on the requirements he’s pinpointed that helped him reach the highest levels of success in professional football. The story of how he made his vision of world class success a reality is unexpected; discovering a method by which to tap into his natural born resources to manifest the exact professional experience he wanted.

As a mindset and emotion coach for business professionals and entrepreneurs, his unique life experiences and acquired wisdom are a gift and can be of value to others who set out to do great things or want to make changes to their life.

He now uses those attributes to teach his audiences and clients that Super Bowl levels of success in sports, business, and life are simple, if you have a championship mindset and practice his four, basic instructions for success:

  1. Let go of the past
  2. Have a desired outcome, a destination
  3. Take actions that align with the destination
  4. Focus

“In NLP, there’s a saying: the conscious mind is the goal setter, and the unconscious mind is the goal-getter. Your unconscious mind is not out to get you–rather, it’s out TO GET FOR YOU whatever you want in life. However, if you don’t know how to communicate what you want properly, it will keep bringing steaming bowls of liver stew out of the kitchen.

Whatever it is, realize that your unconscious mind only does that because it thinks that’s what you want. (‘Sir, here is your procrastination along with a side of anxiety. I’ve also told the valet to bring up your emotional baggage as per your request. Will you be needing anything else?’) You see there is a lot going on inside us which we just haven’t got a clue that it’s holding us back from ever getting ourselves into the end zone, for life’s touchdowns” – Chukky Okobi

In the video that follows, “Four Basic Instructions To Success,” Chukky helps you get out of your own way, overcome bad habits and thought patterns that do not serve your life agenda, and create your own custom-designed, fulfilling life. And, he reveals how the biggest obstacle that people face in their lives is their own personal belief structure. What they believe they can achieve often gets stopped before it ever has a chance to come to life.

As always, I welcome your questions and feedback. Feel free to reach out to me through the email address that follows.
